Dicionários quebram o galho, se a gente não sabe, nem é especialista no assunto - eu uso para dar palpites em assuntos cujos áreas não são minha especialidade. MAS... nada é melhor do que a prática (se possível).
OUTRA COISA para quem usa dicionários Port>Inglês: PRESTEM BEM ATENÇÃO se o texto vai ser para os Estados Unidos/Canadá ou o Inglês britânico. Há diferenças em ortografia e uso de palavras médicas. Exemplos:

"Atraumatic" (USA); "non-traumatic" (UK)
"License" (USA)- "licence, register" (UK), etc. etc. Esses foram alguns termos que eu peguei no proz só nas últimas 2 semanas.
