Portuguese term or phrase: padrões qualitativos de Eco-H/Eco-R

Explanation:
They are comparing the echogenicity of the liver (eco-H for hepatica) with that of the renal cortex (eco-R fo rim).
Does that make sense now?
See how important it is to give the full context?

Echo-H, echo-R are meaningless unless you explain the notation first:

comparison of liver/hepatic echogenicity (echo-H) with that of the right renal cortex (echo-R) ....

I would say "qualititative criteria" rather than "standards".

This liver-kidney comparison is standard procedure in diagnosing fatty liver by the way.

Diagnosis of Fatty Liver
Fatty liver was detected by abdominal colorful ultrasound diagnostic apparatus (mode: logic700, GE Co., Fairfield, CT). All subjects underwent abdominal ultrasonography performed by the same operator unaware of patient identities and treatment regimens. Criteria for detecting the fatty liver on ultrasound include the brightness of the liver in comparison with the kidney (liver kidney contrast), vascular blurring (obscuring the hepatic vein trunk), and deep attenuation (intensity of the echo beam in the right hepatic lobe).

>> qualitative criteria for the liver-kidney echogenicity ratio

as opposed to quantitative criteria in which the echo signal is measured in decibels.
