Só países onde o serviço militar é obrigatório (EUA) é que pode-se traduzir, - a traduçao do Fuad acima é boa. A maioria dos países europeus aboliu o serviço militar.
Na Inglaterra há reservistas, mas é um serviço voluntário - chama-se "Territorial Army" - uma pessoa que fez parte ou faz parte do "Territorial Army", é simplesmente a "Territorial Army Member (Officer, sargeant, private etc.) E o certificado - pedaço de papel - seria um "T.A. Membership Certificate"
