neutral  rhandler: No exemplo que você deu, a expressão significa "marcar a linha do passe", ou seja, trajetória de passagem da bola. Conheço como "linha de passe" aquele jogo de futebol em que a bola vai de pé em pé, pelo alto, e no terceiro passe pode-se atirar ao gol.
