"DOR"

Explanation:
“Dor”

In its very Romanian sense it’s possible not to be translated. It is an
indefinite state, especially of a human being who experiences the distance in
space and time between itself and another being which is connected to it by a conscious and/or unconscious feeling of love and/or a feeling of both
belonging to a particular whole.

[But there are a few ways of using it in phrases. For example:

I missed you. – “Mi-a fost dor de tine.”
I can take away your yearning for somebody else. – “Pot să-ti înlătur
dorul de altcineva.”
I long for a calm life. – “Tânjesc dupa o viata linistita.”
When I am abroad, I am homesick, and there is nothing I can do to help it. -
“Când sunt în strainatate, mi-e dor de casa (de tara), si nu pot sa-l alin cu nimic.”
Homesickness is an untreatable disease. – “ Dorul de casa este o boala netratabila”.]
