neutral  Annamaria Amik: I agree with the answer, but not the explanation. The bus-dict link is about something else, I don't think 'liability for refusing... or foreclosing without procedure' is something that can be reported on the books. L. associated with is better.

-> The second link is meant to be a mere linguistic approximation to 'lending liabilities' - only the first business definition being of any relevance.

agree  Ada Jones: NOT ONLY LIABILITY IS THE INCAPACITY OF BEING LIABLE OF TUTELLE IF YOU DON'T PAY BACK WHAT YOU WHERE CREDITED ON TRUST AND THAT WORD SHOULD BE BANNED OUT OF BANKING DISCOURSE

Explanation:

https://www.bnm.md/ro/content/planul-de-conturi-al-evidentei...
7100
Obligaţiuni la credite acordate
7101 Obligaţiuni sub formă de acorduri la credite
7102 Obligaţiuni sub formă de acorduri de gaj
7103 Amanetul primit

Obligations that are contingent liabilities of a bank, and thus do not appear on its balance sheet. In general, off-balance sheet items include the following: direct credit substitutes in which a bank substitutes its own credit for a third party, including standby letters of credit; irrevocable letters of credit that guarantee repayment of commercial paper or tax-exempt securities; risk participations in bankers’ acceptances; sale and repurchase agreements; and asset sales with recourse against the seller; interest rate swaps; interest rate options and currency options, and so on.

http://www.fktk.lv/texts_files/Banku_kreditportfela_struktur...
Information shall be prepared also on those off-balance sheet liabilities on loan granting of the bank that are not included in the monthly balance sheet in accordance with...

Deoarece datoriile contingente apar în alte clase, aş evita termenul acesta.
