licensed architect Explanation: Ref.: http://www.licensedarchitect.org/ -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 mins (2008-11-02 18:24:57 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Din cate stiu, licenta iti da si dreptul de a practica si in multe cazuri nu e nici o diferenta intre autorizatie si licenta (cel putin nu exista una in mod traditional). Oricum, pt. clarificare: Quote: Of course, it is only in the last 100 years or so that architects have been required to be licensed as professionals. Before that, the job of architect was seen as something almost sacred as its knowledge and skills were passed along through traditional means such as guild apprenticeship and from fathers to sons. http://www.architecturecrossing.com/article/index.php?id=600... |

Reference: Requirements Reference information: http://www.daap.uc.edu/said/bsarch/ -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 16 mins (2008-11-02 18:25:33 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Colegiu este doar o cale spre obtinerea unei licente; valabil pentru multe meserii aici( doctori, profesori, psihologi); licenta presupune un sau mai multe examene speciale; poti avea facultatea de drept de pilda, dar daca n-a trecut "Bar Exam" nu ai dreptul sa practici. License and Degree ca fait deux. |

Reference: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) Reference information: De acord cu propunerea Mihaelei. Am găsit o echivalare aproximativă: "Please note that there is another possible route to becoming an architect--the continuous 5 year professional degree program. Under this course, after five years of study, students area awarded with a professional bachelor's degree in architecture, a degree that qualifies those who complete it to sit for the ARE (the Architectural Registration Exam, the architecture equivalent of the bar exam). Again, first time students matriculating with a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree can also qualify for registration, without obtaining a master's degrees."
