Romanian term or phrase: podoaba
Nu in sensul de bijuterie, cu toate ca 'jewel' are ceva peiorativ.
Expresiile in care e folosit cuvantul, doua:
"..doua pramatii, doua podoabe cum ii place a grai..."
"Ai sa vezi tu, fanaticule, podoaba."

prick

Explanation:
o sugestie - prick = [offensive] Insulting terms of address for people who are stupid or irritating or ridiculous

Example sentence(s):
  • Often used in New Zealand in sentences like : "He's a prick" meaning that that person is not reliable, does not "pull his weight" and behaves accordingly. Also it can mean that that person is annoying.

Asker: Singura mea grija e ca prick se foloseste de obicei cand vorbesti despre cineva care are autoritate (de jos in sus). Ori 'podoaba' la steinhardt e folosit (si nu-i clar din citatele pe care le-am inclus) de cineva in autoritate (de sus in jos). Insulta e directionata diferit

Asker: Multumesc mult. Si eu ma tot uit si nu gasesc. Si totusi parca-mi sta pe limba :-)

knave, scoundrel, rascal

Explanation:
as in "You knave, you scoundrel..."

atenţie, eu am găsit piece of work cu sens pozitiv

piece of work
A remarkable person, achievement, or product
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/piece of work

Asker: Multumesc mult. Sugestia Mihaelei, 'a piece of work' cred ca are nuanta pe care-o caut

Asker: Multumesc mult. Sugestia Mihaelei, 'a piece of work' cred ca are nuanta pe care-o caut

De asta 'piece of work' mi s-a parut ca merge in directia potrivita. dar oare 'piece of work' e prea inofensiv?

Asker: Da, multumesc. Cred ca 'nasty piece of work' e exact ce caut
