Most of the suggestions have too much sexual suggestion for English. Although they sound quite innocent, they are still quite suggestive, so we would no really say them to a nephew or child. Simon's and Elivra's may seem innocent and A-sexual in Romanian, but used in normal conversation they suggest two lovers talking together.
Lovely boy might be OK for the adult child, if the aunt is completely asexual and not romantic. It depends on the relationship and the story line and her age. Dear boy or dearest boy might be the safest.
So, to say “I could just eat you up” means they find something very attractive, sweet, or special about that person. Particularly small children and pets :)
In US Eng. we have nothing like "eat your mouth." Lovably boy is wrong, and lovable boy is a little strange. Kiss you dearly is strange. Lovely boy or sweet boy is very good, but they have a feminine nuance so the boy must be young. "I'd/I'll eat you up" is colloquial, but has a slightly sexual nuance unless the boy is young.
"Kiss you dearly" ... "you, my lovably boy" sau altceva asemanator... se poate „inventa” o expresie pentru transferul de sens în funcție de contextul mai larg. Succes!
