finality/irrevocability (of electronic transactions)
Explanation:
All actions taken in electronic form are irreversible, final and cannot be revoked.
In other words, they have the same force as in a legal contract. The only thing that can make this feasible is absolute validity/integrity of data and proof of origin/authorship (i.e., bullet-proof authentication procedures, such as electronic signatures that cannot be forged). An example that affects many translators using Paypal: client can subsequently cancel his payment. This is the opposite of irrevocability.
