Russian to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Construction / Civil Engineering / article about urban planning
Russian term or phrase: открытая серийность
The context:

В области же градостроительства как искусства, производного от архитектуры, апроприация *открытой серийности* продвигалась с трудом и произошла с огромным историческим опозданием — в период, когда советские микрорайоны и американские массовые типовые «левитт-тауны» уже стали вполне осязаемой повседневной реальностью.

My dictionary is giving me open seriation but for some reason this doesn't seem correct.

I thought it could possibly be "open series" but that translates as открытый ряд in Russian.

Does anyone have some advice about this term?

Thanks a lot,

Sarah
