Russian term or phrase: A skol'ko ty uzhe kumarish' seichas? Kogda u tebia kumar nachalsia?
Interview with a drug user.
There is a section that I;m not sure about.

Q - A skol'ko ty uzhe kumarish' seichas? Kogda u tebia kumar nachalsia?
A - Nu, u menia uzhe nachalos' eto...
Q - Uh-huh.
A - Tri dnia.
Q - Tri dnia kak? Sovsem malo?
A - Sovsem tak malo.
Q - A ran'she skol'ko? A vy skol'ko upotrebliaete geroin uzhe vremeni?
A - Nu, geroin ya...
Q - Skol'ko raz kololas' geroinom?
A - Nu, primerno okolo 10.
Q - A stadolom?
R - Mesiat - samoe bol'shoe.

* 3 days - has he been 'craving' for 3 days now?
* What does 'sovsem malo' mean here? That 3 days isn't a long time or that she can't go for a long time without drugs?
* A vy skol'ko upotrebliaete geroin uzhe vremeni? - Does this mean without having a break?

Can anyone unravel this?

English translation:And how long have you had the cravings? When did your cravings start?
Explanation:
1) 3 days of craving? yes

2) The interviewer wants to know whether the user thinks that the 3-day craving is really short.

3) No, the 'vremeni' should really come after 'skolko' (possible in Russian syntax because of the cases). Meaning: How long (skolko vremeni) have you been using heroin?

Thanks. You explanation makes sense on the basis of the information I provided. What is odd is that the interviewer has already asked the respondent how long they have been using heroin and so I think he was
probably getting at something else - hard to know though.
