Asker: Thanks for your answers, everybody! Michael, in this context here it does actually mean that the certificate is no longer valid as there is a new owner now. But I feel that the word "cancel(l)ed" refers to sth. which was planned or scheduled? Can you cancel a title to sth?? And just out of interest. would "void" fit here, too?

На серификате, никакого отношения к “cancelled“ это не имеет, категорически! Это просто значит, что сборы уплачены!
