Russian term or phrase: депрессия на стенки скважины
Добрый день, подскажите, пожалуйста, депрессия на стенки скважины - underbalance? или это все underbalanced drilling?
При бурении с давлением на забое меньшим, чем пластовое давление, депрессия на стенки скважины должна быть не более 15 %
эффективных скелетных напряжений

pressure drawdown at the wellbore wall

These are the idiomatic terms in English, used by petroleum engineers (outside of company jargon in certain isolated companies).
(Reference re "pressure drawdown" from Schlumberger, world's largest oilfield service company:)
(Reference among over 33,400 for "wellbore wall" (aka borehole wall) (see the boldface below):)
The drilled hole or borehole, including the openhole or uncased portion of the well. Borehole may refer to the inside diameter of the wellbore wall, the rock face that bounds the drilled hole.
wellbore - Schlumberger Oilfield Glossary

Proz website malfunction: It failed to enter the fact that the term to which I supplied a translation was "депрессия на стенки скважины" and not just "депрессия".

neutral  Irina Shevchenko: Drawdown is NOT a jargon word. It is a term fixed in all Oil&Gas and Drilling Eng-Rus-Engh dictionaries since at least 1991. The term is used by all O&G service companies and operators. My comment referred to "jargon" only.

-> Authoritatively, the relevant term is "pressure drawdown", and not just "drawdown". (It appears that you have read my entry incorrectly, indeed twice.) (Also please note that you have only translated only 1 of the 4 words in the Asker's question.)
