Russian term or phrase:
Philosophical text.
Katie
English translation:mediate by a specific objective
Explanation:
Dear Katie,
the problem here is in a possible tranlslation of the text: Any organizing, reflecting activity or action, including those concerning the science, leads (by Husserl ....[ГУССЕРЛЬ (Husserl) Эдмунд (1859-1938), немецкий философ, основатель феноменологии.
... to appearance of so-called "closed worlds" which are mediate by a specific objective and inaccessible (or difficult) for a direct perception (comprehension, unserstanding).
Note that both опосредованный and опосредствованный are treated here not in the best possible sense. Some details can be retrieved from pages dedicated to proper ideology of Husserl

Sorry to give you only points, but I think it should be 'mediated', not 'mediate', but I still don't understand what 'mediated by a specific objective' can mean when applied to worlds, whether closed or not? Can you shed any light on this? kajuco@hotmail.com
