vibrating red, tender pink

Explanation:
Both 'trepetny' and 'nezhny' render human feelings rather than tint of color. You can also say 'flickering red' which sounds absolutely neutral. Or will 'trembling red' fit better?

shimmering scarlet, benevolent crimson

Explanation:
or "benevolently crimson (or purple)". Зависит от контекста: если это - о цвете, то перед каждой парой надо поставить неопределенный артикль, а если дальше стоит существительное, то следует дать наречие "benevolently"

The reflections turned a shimmering scarlet, then pale crimson, and lit up the snowbanks

Explanation:
'Purpurnyi' can also mean "crimson", according to my Katzner, which makes more sense in the context - presumably the author is talking about sunbeams reflecting off another surface.

'Otrazitsa' does mean "reflect", but that would be redundant given that 'otsvet' means "reflection". 'Otrazitsa na' carries the meaning of "have an effect on", hence my choice of "lit up", which is the main effect a reflection of light would have on an object.
