Explanation:
Все-равно, это будут цифры на какую-то определенную дату (конец такого-то месяца, такого-то квартала и т.д.). Так и следует писать, по-моему. Причем, обратите внимание, что в русском варианте всегда пишется "на 01 января 2001 года", а в английском "на 31 декабря 2000 года", и так каждый раз: на русском "на 01 число нового квартала/отчетного периода", а в англ. - "на последнее число прошедшего отчетного периода". Показатели одни и те же, просто специфика отражения в отчетности такова.
"Financial position" я бы использовал, если дается довольно детальное описание (напр. расшиффровка баланса и ОПУ, Cash flow, возможно, с коментариями);

"Financial highlights" - если просто даются выборочно самые главные, наболее общие финансовые показатели ( в виде перечня, возможно с диаграммами для наглядности), напр. вот так:

- Total assets as of xxx= YYY
- Turnover for 2nd half of 20...=yyy
- ROA for 20..=yyy
- ROE for 20..=yyy
