Russian term or phrase:шорф
From a short biography, "...узбек...зубной врач...подданный Саудовой Аравии...Родился в Андижане...проживал в Хиджазе, Мекка, шорф Фейсал, духона Адулладасан, имел врачебную практику в Эль-рияде и Мекке".
Well, my Egyptian neighbor said it wasn't Arabic, and thought it was Persian but two native Iranians said they hadn't heard of the word. One guessed it was related to "shorof"/"shorof", which means "good, righteous".
Indeed, a Proz-er of my acquaintance has volunteered to consult with an Arabic interpreter he knows. I have an Egyptian-born neighbor whom I can also consult if no one in this pair can answer either question with confidence.
Gary ... The only idea that comes to my mind is that you can transliterate this word "shorf"(?) and try asking it in Arabic-English... If you finally find an answer, please share it with me ;) I became rather interested what on earth can this mean :)
