Can anyone confirm that the above tax in the UK is properly referred to as Capital Gains Tax?

Also, from the British legislation, the following:

Zakon o konsolidatsiyah kompaniy (posledstvuyuschih usloviah) - The Company Consolidations (Subsequent Terms) Act

Normativnye polozhenia kompaniy (Tablitsy A-F) - the Standard Company Statutes (Tables A-F) regulatory instrument

The last is a compendium of the standard documentation required of newly incorporated companies in the UK (Articles of Association, etc.).

Lastly: Direktiv ES No. 7 - Does this refer to a European Council Directive or a European Commission Directive?

Council of Europe is called "Sovet Evropy" in Russian. So I would expect the abbreviation to be "SE."

The EC (European Commission) is "Evropeiskaya Kommissiya" in Russian, so I would expect the abbreviation to be "EK."

European Union is "Evropejskij Soyuz" in Russian, and is abbreviated "ES."

Hence, I would guess that you have a European Union directive, provided, of course, that there is such a thing.

If I knew the title of the directive in Russian, I would search for it using aport.ru -- then enter my best guess at the translation in the EU website's search engine-- this usually works. If you don't have the title, enter "direktiv ES" IN RUSSIAN using one of the Russian search engines, plus a few keywords indicating what the directive's about.

This is time consuming, I know, but if you bookmark as you go, you'll save time next time.
