I am struggling to come up with an accurate translation of корпия. What follows is the 4th in a series of novelty features enumerated for a specific hemostatic material:

После изготовления тканого полотна,то есть после его окисления и иммобилизации на нем кровоостанавливающих компонентов на специальном оборудовании последовательно изготавливается сначала корпия гемостатического материала ( вата ) а затем на специальной мельнице " Супер - Фаин " микроволокна ДАЦ ( порошок ) с размерами частиц от 1,0 мкм до 20 мкм.

Thank you very much. This encouraged me to research the Latin, which led to the discovery of charpie. These terms are obsolete at this stage of the game, but nevertheless correct. See discussion.
