liquid-flow studies Explanation: most accepted way of rendering this in US scientific journals. Please note that "scientific studies" is considered redundant in American journals...it is assumed, of course, that the studies are "scientific"...so one simply drops that chemist (Ph.D) 30 years |

[COMMENT] Explanation: This has always been a major issue with all the major American journal publishers such as the American Chemical Society and Plenum Press...the consensus is that, if for no other reason, it saves a hell of a lot of type in printing..plus...any study (investigation) is ipso facto "scientific"..plus "study" is preferred over "investigation" for the same reason a hell of a lot of hard-earned experience with editors over 30 years |
