Interview with a drug users.
The drug user is saying that she chucks her syringes away outside. The interviewer asks her if she's worried that a kid might pick one up. The drug user replies that there are loads of syringes lying around and explains that they are thrown in the bushes.

Is the respondent saying "How could I leave without chucking away my syringe first?"
