Я не вижу беды в использовании наречия. Тут понятно, что рапиры тяжко трудились, неутомимо схлестывались, аж звон стоял, причем соперники, вероятно, были очень равные, так что \"с напряжением\" -- это либо \"упруго\", либо \"от тяжелого труда\". Хотя я думаю, что with tension тоже хороший оттенок дает -- хлесткости, столкновения, соперничества такого. :) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-05-17 17:52:10 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Но не ring, это наверняка.
