what/which Explanation: "pitao sam gde su odgovori na moja pitanja". well, it is not clear here what exactly happened. If you asked where the answers to your questions were, her reply would be "ma koja", as "questions" in Serbian are female gender. This also might be her irritation by something, so that it might also be the beginning of a very bad swearword:):) |

What answers (are you talking about)? Explanation: ma = could be translated as "but" but, actually this word is empty of meaning, it adds style, here it could be understood as "What are you talking about?". In other words, either she didn´t receive your questions or, more probably, she pretends as she didn´t. koji (plural form, masculine gender)= what, which "Ma koji?" is shortened from "Ma koji odgovori?" odgovor, -i (masculine gender)= answer, -s Ma koji odgovori? = What answers (are you talking about)? |
