By gaining the permission of the "regulacie Märzensky mytnej ciary" Palugyay’s production of wine and distillates was freed from city taxes and fees.

Märzensky was the former name of Stefanikova street in Bratislava. At that time, tolls were evidently paid on goods leaving or entering the city. This sentence refers to some kind of customs barrier - 'mytna ciara"; "mýtnik závora" meaning customs house, 'ciara' meaning 'line'.
