why not simply "serious undernourished patient" - hočem reči, kako komplicirano (gl original) moraj o zdravniki govoriti med seboj, da se razumejo?!

Kaheksija je izgubljanje telesne mase na račun propadanja mišic in bi bila lahko posledica slabe prehranjenosti, ne pa nujna. Tako da "cachexic patient" bi bil pacient, ki je že veliko shujšal.
"seriously" je za farmakopejo/medicino MANJ kot "severely". Severely je že Notfall :)
