En su tiempo solo los nobles o sus más cercanos sirvientes tenían acceso a estos espacios, para el resto, eran un mito oculto tras puertas secretas. Es gracias a la sagrada potestad de la arquitectura de asociarse con el Tiempo para trascender a sus dueños y a los programas para los que fue concebida, que hoy podemos hablar de ello.

agree  Charles Davis: In principle it's not just a fancy word for "poder", but power in the sense of authority, with connotations of authority legitimately conferred (by a higher power?); but I think power is the best word here.
