Spanish term or phrase: via de limitación - Vial VDL
Context: "Proyecto de Urbanizacion Refundido Camino Corral Del Batlle Y Apertura Vial VDL en Sagunto (Valencia)". Iassume that VDL stands for "via de limitación", but I do not know the translation of this.

longitudinal boundary road
Explanation:
As I said in the discussion, VDL here seems to stand for "Vial de Delimitación Longitudinal". There is one newspaper that identifies this acronym as "vial de limitación":

But I think they've just got it wrong; official documents identify it as "vial de delimitación longitudinal":

http://www.morvedre.info/urbanisme/esta-tarde-se-ha-abierto-...

http://www.morvedre.info/ciutat/sagunto-adjudica-las-once-ob...

"VIAL DE DELIMITACION LONGITUDINAL (V.D.L.), 2ª FASE, EN LA PLAYA DE ALMARDA.

I have not found any definition of this term in Spanish. I presume that "vial de delimitación" implies "boundary road". I can't think what else this term could mean.

If it is "delimitación" rather than "limitación" (as it seems to be), I think it's more likely to refer to a road that delimits something, ie. marks the outer limit of it, which is why I suggested "boundary". "Limitación" would be more compatible with weight restriction, I would have thought.

Here's another example of "vial de delimitación", which seems to me to mean "boundary road":

Thank you, Charles.
Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi, Charles. Regarding "boundary road", could it also mean restricted road? For example, a weight restricted road.

Asker: Yes, I think you are right that it is a boundary rather than a restriction. Thanks, Charles.
