Esclafoll

Explanation:
I am fairly sure that 'esclafolls' is Catalan for the scales of an onion. I have found pictures and a recipe for this but don't think that 'Roast Onion Scales' sounds very attractive so if it were me, I would says 'Roast Onion Esclafoll'

agree  Cecilia Gowar: No idea what the word means but it is used as such in Spanish so I suggest keeping it in English too.

agree  Charles Davis: "Layer" would sound all right, I think, and would be more explanatory (perhaps as well as the original word).
