Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / Tech Specs for supply of reactance devices
Spanish term or phrase: viales (see context)
Hi all,

Can you help with this little teaser I'm editing?

This is SP SP to UK EN please, taken from a request for bids to supply reactance devices to a public electricity network provider.
The section is discussing the design characteristics, specifically of the racks where the reactances shall be placed.
However, in some cases the reactances will have to be incorporated into old, existing substations and their racks:

Should I just take "viales" here to mean the "runners" or "guides" for the reactance device (the translator has put "vials")?

Confirmation appreciated, Neil

In the first paragraph carriles is mentioned. I would go with tracks rather than runners.
