On-site service providers and workers Explanation: These are people who are contracted by the company, usually temporary position, who provide the labour and skills needed without the full commitment of putting them on the payroll. In Peru they are cracking down on this practice (which can also be used to avoid tax by both parties) by running checks on these service providers and where the contracts are deemed to be long-term in nature, they can insist these providers are put on to the payroll, because they are, in effect employees. |
