This is a news article that appeared in Colombia's La Silla Vacía about the upcoming presidential elections.

By the context and since Twitter is mentioned, I'm assuming that "trinar," "trinos," and "retrinar" here refer to tweeting, tweets, and retweets, respectively. It makes the most sense. But since "trinar" can also mean "to fume," well... I'm not sure. Colombian Spanish does have weird turns of phrase sometimes. :)

Además, pese a que en Twitter la interacción de Murgas Dávila no es mucha, y desde agosto hasta noviembre solo hizo cinco ***trinos*** más relacionados con la industria de la palma, volvió a mover su cuenta ese mes solo para ***retrinar*** las visitas de Pinzón al Cesar y a La Guajira.
