Well, I quite agree that the more context the better, but we do know that this is about business and finance, specifically human resources, and that it refers to a business meeting. This, to me, makes it pretty well certain that Bill's first suggestion is right: Presidencia means the Chairman of a company (possibly accompanied by his immediate team) and representación social means the union reps (or worker representatives if you prefer). This is probably a meeting of what in the UK is often called a Joint Consultative Committee, though I wouldn't translate it like that. Why not post your answer, Bill? |
