Bus/Financial - Human Resources / Job description listing
Spanish term or phrase: Pectinero
A Mexican business document lists job positions at industrial plants, warehouses, etc.

These jobs include obvious and known ones such as:
Almacenista, Chofer, Inspector, Coorindador, Mecanico, etc.

There is the SINGLE USE of "PECTINERO" as a job position.

The only English equivalent I could find is "SCALLOP" (the shellfish), which is NOT helpful.

(Also note that an Argentinian employee here had NEVER heard the word at all).

I am baffled -- Please HELP!!

Pectin extractor

A wild guess, (or pectin plant worker), assuming it´s related to pectin, used principally in the food preparation industry. First of all it has to be extracted before it can be utilised.
