Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s)
Spanish term or phrase: adquirente de una deuda
When you acquire a debt (pay off the creditor and take over the debt), does this make you the 'acquirer'.

Whereas I would normally use 'purchaser' or 'buyer' for adquirente, I am not sure if it is applicable in this context.

Can anyone confirm?
many thanks
