: I think it should be III A, whereas it is common in Spanish, I have never seen "chapter III bis" in English.

: Me neither J., esp. US English. About the apts.: I've only seen this in FR, ES & BE on buildings, not only apt. buildings. If it also applies to apts. within an apt. building having a bis, then the possibility of two 'bises' in your address exists, no?
