Source is an Argentine statute regarding legal fees for attorneys, solicitors, etc. This particular section is about insolvency and bankruptcy cases. I don't particularly understand what is meant by the entire clause "si la gestión hubiera sido de beneficio general."

of general benefit
Explanation:

--> (for example)
if the case was of general benefit (as distinct from 'benefit only to the (named) client)

agree  Robert Carter: Yes, though perhaps of benefit to all concerned or all creditors.

  -> Perhaps. But it might also be of benefit to the "general public", the "nation". The translation should not be made more specific than the (indeterminate) ST.

agree  Manuel Cedeño Berrueta: I also think that “beneficio general” probably refers to all concerned parties, but the translation should maintain the ambiguity of the ST
