rights

Explanation:
Me parece que ya tenemos demasiados "socios, sociedades y sociales" en la frase. Creo que basta con "rights", ya que los socios de las sociedades sociales disfrutan de los derechos de la sociedad.. o algo asi.

  -> Gracias°

neutral  Jane Lamb-Ruiz (X): Look, this is not right..shareholders have voting rights and companies have share ownership by percentage of shareholders..just rights is meaningless, IMO
25 mins
-> You might be right, if you are certain that those "rights" are indeed voting rights. I am not, so I leave as plain "rights"

voting rights

Explanation:
voting rights, usually would mean

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 10 mins (2004-06-22 19:35:42 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

shares in a company give rise to voting rights....voting rights are allocated based on share ownership...sometimes, this means equity stake...but strictly speaking the term is voting rights

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 34 mins (2004-06-22 20:00:02 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

YOU VOTE BASED ON SHARE OWNERSHIP OR VOTING RIGHTS.....

HERE YOU CAN SAY VOTING RIGHTS OR SHARE OWNERSHIP...CHECK IF YOU USE SHARE OWNERSHIP....

IT IS NOT JUST RIGHTS!

I FOUND a better answer:

FINAL: VOTING STOCK...that\'s the CORRECT answer....see the definition:

Example. Corporation A owns 51% of the voting stock in Corporation B. Corporation B owns 51% of the voting stock in Corporation C. Corporation C owns 51% of the voting stock in Corporation D. Therefore, Corporation D is controlled by Corporation A.
