Spanish term or phrase: zonas interios de urbanización
From a contract of sale of (as yet unbuilt) property: "un conjunto residencial denominado X compuesto por 109 apartamentos y áticos, plazas de aparcamientos y trasteros, con zonas interios de urbanización". It looks as though "interios" has got to be a typo, but for what? and how does "urbanización" fit into this particular context, at the end of the list of very specific types of property?

English translation:on-site facilities in housing developments
Explanation:
*urbanización* from the Oxford SuperLex:

b (núcleo residencial) (housing) development

Those would be "zonas interiores": on-site facilities.

zonas interiores de urbanización; urbanización is (usually)

Explanation:
freely translated as development, town development, town planning. It would seem that they want to develop the central part into some kind of community center (shopping, leisure, etc., to make the flats self-sufficient).

common areas

Explanation:
In Spain, a popular residence is a flat/chalé that is part of a complex that is totally enclosed. You enter by a private gate to a common area of garden/park, swimming pool, car park. This is called an 'urbanización' and in your case I would describe it as a 'residential complex'. (Not housing estate, as it smacks of English suburbs, and never have common private areas.

My guess is that the flats you refer to are like this, and the 'zonas interioREs de urbanización' are 'common areas (of the residential complex)'

I will try and find something to support this argument and submit it if I find it.

2. http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:www.virginiatour.es/Ver...

I think the second supports my translation - it refers to 'not leaving the area to enjoy facilities such as pool, etc' This is a hotel complex, but it also applies to housing/residential compexes, that have common facilities shared by all the neighbours, but not open to the general public.

En el restaurante de VERA NATURA podrá saborear las buenas tapas y platos de la zona.

Interior urbanistic zones

Explanation:
It should refer to parks, recreation spaces, joging pathways, and the like, inside the residential complex. Yes, I agree interios is a typo for interiores. Hope it helps.
