Spanish term or phrase: bandera
"Se registrarán la cantidad de *BANDERAS* en cada rolla, sean por parches, resaque, manchas, arrugas, deslaminación, arranque..."

What would be a suitable term for "banderas" in this context? Obviously it´s referring to a manner of notifying where there have been problems in the production of plastic sheeting. "Red flags" is a figurative way of expressing this, but I´m looking for a term that would be used in the manufacturing sphere. I should know this, but as I pore through this somewhat dry document I seem to have lost what little inspiration and imagination I had :)

Thank for any help!

Thanks Steven! It may be 'little more than a guess' for you, but it actually fits quite well in the context, and I think you're spot on.... Bill
