En un protocolo de pruebas (o ensayos como lo llaman en el documento original) de equipos eléctricos hacen referencia a estos términos. Mi dificultad quizás sea porque es un documento redactado en español chileno y yo soy mexicano. Creo entender "partida" como "lote" ("lot" or "batch"), pero no tengo la certeza, pues mi instinto me lleva a traducirlo como "item" aunque no me parece que tenga mucho sentido esta opción. ¿Algún chileno o sudamericano que pueda ayudarme?
P. ej.:
"De ser rechazada la muestra obtenida de la partida de importación o de fabricación, el importador o fabricante deberá acogerse a lo establecido en el punto xxx de la norma xxx."

Actually, now I'm thinking something like "consignment for import or manufacture" might work better in your context. The wording may vary depending on the rest of the text, but I'm fairly confident about "consignment" as the term for "partida".
