admitting diagnosis
This acronym shows up in the identifying information at the top of a patient's medication sheet.
"Diagnostico de Ingreso: SDF". There is nothing in the rest of the report that matches "SDF". The patient had chronic kidney failure and gangrene in one leg which required amputation of the toes and then the leg.
Previous diagnoses in the patient's history include Diabetic foot, Diabetic arterial disease, Chronic Renal Failure, and Chronic Ischemia of the Lower Limbs. While in the hospital she was treated by vascular surgery, internal medicine and nephrology.
There's nothing in KudoZ that matches this acronym, and the tremedica glossary doesn't contain it. The closest I find is "síndrome del dolor fantasma" which doesn't quite seem right here.
What is SDF in this situation (and how do we say it in English)?

Fanconi's syndrome
According to past clinical history, I will say "Síndrome de Fanconi" we do not abbreviate as SDF but some times / uncommonly, (is not an standard, but FS (in English).
English "Fanconi´s Syndrome".
In adults, Fanconi syndrome can be caused by various things that damage the kidneys, including:
• Certain medications, including azathioprine, cidofovir, gentamicin, and tetracycline
• Kidney transplant
• Light chain deposition disease
• Multiple myeloma
• Primary amyloidosis
REW- Síndrome de Fanconi asociado a cadenas ligeras Ig monoclonal...
