neutral  Jennifer Levey: I agree that it probably refers to stiffness in the arm, but not necessarily "when walking" (unless he walks on his hands) I can "andar cansado" while lying on the sofa watching TV :)

  -> refering to lying or being in something is "anda" or "andar de/en", but just "andar" as a noun is walk style. "tiene un andar cansado" He walks like being tired.
