Lo único que conseguí fue un artículo que se llama "Intestinal occlusion secondary to a retained surgical item" https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S244405071... en el que dice: "Diagnosis is incidental and based on radiological studies which are generally simple, since simple X-ray can identify gauze swabs and sponges marked with radio-opaque material in up to 90% of cases and the classical radiological pattern is honeycomb or breadcrumb", pero no estoy 100% seguro de que "breadcrumb pattern" sea el término correcto ya que me parece muy literal y el termino no creo que sea del campo médico.

Apreciaría mucho una opinión o respuesta.
Muchas gracias.

Explanation:

The small bowel faeces sign consists of gas bubbles mixed with particulate matter in dilated segments of small bowel. This was a retrospective study of 22 patients demonstrating this sign from 1989 to 1993.
(...) The presence of gas and particulate material resembling faeces in a dilated segment of small bowel on CT is abnormal.

containing particulate material mixed with gas bubbles. A transition zone (arrowhead) is noted distal to the small bowel feces. Small bowel feces appear more amorphous and affect longer segments compared with a small bowel bezoar, which appears as a well-defined, focal, ovoid mass with a mottled gas pattern. Figure 1.

Small gas pockets frequently are trapped within the fecal material, giving it a characteristic mottled appearance. ... An example of this would be the presence of visible rugal folds above the hemidiaphragm.

I wonder if "mottled/spongy pattern" is a possibility?
