La técnica de epidurolisis consiste en el acceso al espacio epidural, bien por vía caudal, interlaminar o transforaminal. Los objetivos principales de esta técnica son básicamente dos; por un lado la eliminación de los efectos que implica la formación de fibrosis epidural y por otro lado la posibilidad de depositar drogas (corticoides, hialuronidasa, suero salino hipertónico…) en la zona afectada .
