Under the heading "Caducidad de los procedimientos" one can read the most relevant part of this law as regards the "corte," though the word "corte" is never mentioned. The "corte" means that the legal terms/deadlines are suspended, but the real meaning is that the "tramite" or administrative procedure, the file, is suspended/frozen/paralyzed.

"Clock stop: A period of time during which the evaluation of a medicine is officially stopped, while the applicant prepares responses to questions from the regulatory authority. The clock resumes when the applicant has sent its responses."
