Spanish term or phrase: partesana
Hi there,

this is a weapon used by infantry in the Renaissance period. Does anyone know what it is called in English. Copernicus gave me loads of references to it in Spanish... but none had convenient translations at the side :-)

Jon you gave me the faith (and evidence :-) to do what I was about to do, eg: "anglicise" the original :-)
