Perceived inflation increased in June. Explanation: "Since August it's been down hill for bond prices which has resulted in short term interest rates going up by .25-.40 basis points to the 6.3-6.4% range for a 30 year treasury. These increases have been caused by perceived inflation and economic growth exceeding expectations. " Reference: http://www.nowalkcpa.com/ThirdQuarter.htm |

perceptions of Explanation: There is no such thing as 'perceived inflation' per se - inflation IS and that's it.Each year/month it's X% and that's it. However, it can be perceived 'AS' something e.g. as greater than expected, as increasing, as dangerous, etc This sentence needs surrounding context to be able to interpret it, and is, in fact, highly dependent on what comes after it. En junio había aumentaron la percepción de la inflación...? perceptions of inflation had increased (beyond expectations/forecasts/etc????) EXTRACTS THAT ILLUSTRATE inflation+ perceived (NO direct hits) for inflation that might have been **perceived as** too (undesirably) high. ... **perceived choices** between inflation and unemployment The term Grade Inflation has been frequently used in the media since the 60's.
