Spanish term or phrase: punto de buses
Part of a location given on a police report from San Salvador.

All Google results for "punto de buses" come from El Salvador. It appears each route has its "punto de buses".

My guess is that this is a bus terminus. Can anybody from El Salvador confirm? Or is it a bus station? bus stop?

"a dos cuadros del punto de la ruta de buses número..."

Into U.S. English. Thank you!

agree  Charles Davis: Or indeed texts: "Punto de Buses Ruta 30B Terminal de buses de la ruta 30b" http://wikimapia.org/19234708/es/Punto-de-Buses-Ruta-30B / Terminal/terminus rather than station; "station" is not the right word for a single route.

-> Yes, you're right. I just looked at the pictures and saw lots of buses gathered together. But the term always seems to be associated with one route.

agree  Robert Carter: Agree with Charles, terminus.
