Besides, I see a difference between the "action" and the "deed", and the verb "obrar" refers to the "action" and not to the "deed" which would be "obra" (noun). In Spinoza's philosophy "obrar" has certain characteristics, which relate to being aligned with Spinoza's God in action and not being passively moved by what is called "padecer" (see "Spinoza Filosofía Práctica" by Gilles Deleuze). This note is just to show that "obrar" can mean different things depending on the metaphysics of each philosopher. In this case, Aquinas, who takes these concepts from Aristotle, would only mean "Action"

I think the good deeds" as "obrar" mentioned by Ms. Gullidge are closer to Spinoza than to Aquinas.
